Alternatively, one may share a link by choosing the permissions and then entering the recipient's email address under Copy link, then clicking on Copy to send the link another way.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE RECIPIENT:
Either way, the recipient will need to authenticate by clicking on the blue Send Code button and then checking their email for an email from Microsoft Notifications that has a unique 8-digit code. This code is good for 15 minutes before it expires and only works one time. If a new code is requested, the old code will not work.
Once the email verification code has been received they will enter the code on the next screen and press the blue Verify button.
Tip: if the link is being sent via email, it is best to copy the link out of the email app and open it with another app, so that the email app can be available for receiving the verification code without requesting a new verification code.
